Knife Sharp has over 30 years of experience in the knife sharpening business, we know knives and how to get them sharp like no one else. Our heritage has and always will be making knives sharp, it’s the only thing we do and we think we are very good at it, so do our customers.

As part of the family owned and run Atlas Machine Knives Ltd, Knife Sharp specialise in the sharpening and repair of knives by post, while Atlas Machine Knives Ltd looks after industrial knives serving a wide range of industries as varied as paper making and tyre manufacturing to food production and medical products. If it has a cutting edge, we can sharpen it.

We operate from our large 550m2 workshop in Elland in the heart of West Yorkshire, and Knife Sharp was founded due to more and more local customers coming down to our workshop asking for their knives to be sharpened. So, in 2019 we decided to open up our service to the entire UK, and with our specially designed reusable knife shipping box we can now sharpen knives via post from all corners of UK.

Knife Sharp is taking traditional British craftsmanship and combining it with the most advanced knife sharpening technology in the industry to sharpen your knives to the point they add joy and safety to your cooking while at the same time saving you money. Each knife sharpened is hand finished by one of our experienced and highly skilled knifesmiths and we guarantee they will be sharper than new.
